Not only do staff members of KIDA Hospital, Clinic and Vocational School work hard every day serving patients, clients and students, they raise money as well! On July 28th, 2016, they walked several kilometers alongside some local politicians to raise money and awareness for the construction of a new Children's ward. KIDA Hospital's wards continue to fill up with a large number of children suffering from diseases like malaria, pneumonia, respiratory tract infections and diarrhea. This influx of children in the Hospital has created the need to complete the partially erected Children's Ward. Recently KIDA hosted 120 guests in a Fort Portal restaurant at a fundraising dinner which raised close to $3,000 for the ward.
